on saturday november 22, in stuttgart germany, colin moock will be doing a
full, 5-hour training session on Unity. the session will be a workshop, with
every attendee sitting in front of a computer. moock will guide you through
the multiuser application development process in person, using the
uSimpleChat code base as an example. a prior, basic understanding of OOP is
highly recommended.

register for the workshop here:
http://www.shockwards.de/moockformular.html

* note: the workshop will be in english, even though some of the
registration site is in german.

english workshop notes are here:
http://moock.org/webdesign/lectures/uSimpleChatWorkshop/

the workshop is based on the tutorial here:
http://moock.org/unity/docs/client/simplechat/

but it has been updated to use actionscript 2.0 and the v2 components in
macromedia flash mx 2004.

please note: the workshop notes (above) are not quite complete yet. the
remainder of the notes will be posted later today, along with an updated
version of the uSimpleChat tutorial(the update covers actionscript 2.0).

we'd love to see you there! if you have any questions, please post...

ps. if you can't get to germany, would you like to see this workshop
repeated in a different location? if so, please let us know at
