no i don't mean that. if they configure their firewall to allow traffic 
over the Unity port, they should be able to connect.

sounds like you'll have to do some diagnosis with them. their log files 
likely record all blocked connection attempts. you might try taking 
flash out of the equation by asking them to telnet directly to port 
9100. or even having them try connecting from outside the firewall.
