Hey Colin, 

as the end of August is rapidly approaching I thought I'd see if you guys have any update on Unity 3 beta?

Also, how will your upcoming world tour affect Unity 3 development?

hi chad,
the new ActionScript 3.0 version of uClientCore is up and running, and 
all of our revised communication scheme is finished.

server-side, nio is implemented, hibernate support is done, and most of 
the major features we want to include are nearing completion. we are 
hoping to have an internal build running in the next month or so.

i'm hesitant to hazard a guess at when we'll have a public beta or 
shipping product, but we are certainly trying to get something into 
developers hands this year.

if we don't have a public beta ready by the end of August, i'll post the 
docs for my new client library so you can start getting used to the new API.

another thing that I am happy about is the new ability to observe the 
contents of a room even when you are not in it. the new framework is 
feeling much cleaner and much more flexible.
