macromedia has released a public beta of flash player 8 for backwards 
compatibility testing purposes. download it and test your work to see if it 
breaks in the new player. if it does, report a bug asap so the issue can be 
addressed before the new player ships. note that no new features are being 
demonstrated at this time. the focus of this release is compatibility only.
