- a nice big collection of artist's experiments with the web medium

- music, visual, and animated web-art pieces. lots of flash, qt, dhtml, and the usual links to arty websites (you know, like the ones in this section...)

- mostly java based visual experiments. "the short-cut" could entrance judith zissman for hours.
- modern living
- a biweekly animated art piece. vectorized surreal figure transformations depicting the artists visions and dreams. mostly done in flash. by han hoogerbrugge.

- an amazing little web community piece (done in java) where you can draw little vector creatures and have them morph into creatures others have done. thanks to kim over at alphanumerica for sharing this one.

- andy deck's compelling collaborative pixel paint/ascii art/chat environment written in java. this will be fun for you. go enjoy. if you're lucky you'll see andy himself online.

- a collection of commentary and experimentation on the web by russian web designer alexei shulgin (who's in the same crowd as vuk cosic).

- such a cool collaborative web app: you reserve a space in a quilt of user-submitted images and add to the growing pattern that can be viewed as a tiny mosaic, or zoomed to show the actual pics. works in french, english, and german.

- a grassroots quarterly art piece put together by a small design group based in amsterdam the netherlands. the group advertises the site with posters in the streets of amsterdam. marco de boer, one of the site's creators, pointed out the site to me after using several of the techniques from my flash help page. really nice design sense. fun, refreshing, thoughtful.
