- the hot100 is a portal/search engine that maintains a list of the most visited websites according to logs submitted by a confidential list of webmasters. supposedly the logs track 100 000 web users world wide.
statmarket
- statistics for all the good stuff like which javascript versions are still out there. counts approx. 27 million visits a day on 72,000 sites, last i checked. maintained by websidestory.
stuck with old browsers until 2003 (alertbox april 1999)
- an interesting and short article by jakob neilson that predicts (complete with graphs) that version 3 browsers won't be completely gone until early 2001.
nielsen netratings
- a stats site run by Nielsen Media Research, the famous TV ratings company. includes top 10 sites of the week, net traffic reports per day, and top 10 banners clicked per week.

- georgia tech's famous graphics, visualization and usability (gvu) www usage surveys.
macromedia flash download counter
- info on the download stats for flash from macromedia's site
uiuc browser stats
- summarizes browsers used by 10k+ hosts in 75+ countries making 80k+ accesses on any given day to the engineering
