build a micro-site
create a functioning website about a topic of your choice with at least 9 pages. the site must have a homepage with a minimum of 4 sub-sections, and must provide both graphical and text-based navigation. technical requirements are: 1) use of tables and css 2) use of flash 3) use of both gifs and jpegs 4) well structured site assets and correct filename conventions. extra credit will be given for use of techniques not covered in class (pop-up windows, rollovers). design and innovation within the medium will be considered during the formulation of your grade; highest grades will be given to projects that not only meet the requirements of the assignment, but also engage the web creatively (in both form and function).

submitting your assignment
to submit your assignment, post it to the in-class web server. only material posted to that server will be graded. name the entry page for your site "index.html" and place it in your personal folder. material posted after 12 midnight on the due date will not be considered in your final grade.
