//Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks for the interview. It's great to finally be able to get an inside perspective on the inner-workings of the Flash Team, Adobe and even Macromedia for that matter. Keep it up!
Posted by: Marc Smith at May 24, 2008 12:13 AMThis was great! Thanks very much for doing this and posting it, and please do more! This kind of corporate transparency is what Adobe needs to keep it's user base happy and dedicated to their products. It's refreshing to see such honest commentary about the nature of the Flash player from those who shape it.

Thx for speaking about the unload problem, Colin.(bug issue, plus removeMovieClip issue).
However, it doesn't seem that the removeMovieClip is going to be improved before some years, and it's bad news for 'timeline scripters' :(
Very cool, should set up more interviews like this one.
Posted by: brendan at May 23, 2008 01:31 AMErki, I was at that session at MAX and I concur with your remarks. I found it mesmerizing. BTW, Lee Thomason and Jim Corbett sort of reminded me of Bill Murray and Harold Ramis's characters in the movie "Stripes", both in the way the looked, (loosely) and also in the way the interacted with each other.
Posted by: Dave at May 23, 2008 01:24 AMI liked the interview; although it's a bit dark and hard to hear sometimes.
Posted by: Danny Miller at May 23, 2008 12:29 AMI'd definitely love more of this kind of stuff!
Thanks.
Best,
Burak
This is fantastic Colin, thanks. I'd love to see more of this stuff in the future. TV for nerds, woo!
Posted by: Peter Organa at May 22, 2008 08:55 PMi enjoyed the interview.
Posted by: Caleb at May 22, 2008 08:41 PMI though it was great inteview. And like I said on FITC blog, the Player Internals presentation at last MAX was one of the most interesting talks. I just hope they would let player engineers out more often :)
Posted by: Erki Esken at May 22, 2008 07:50 PMThanks for that great interview! Absolutely want more such interviews with flash related guys from Adobe.
