fitc--canada's highly popular design and technology conference--is heading south of the border, to hollywood, california. this is fitc's first event outside of toronto, and may start a trend that could see fitc held in other cities around the world.
the hollywood version is appropriately flavoured for the entertainment industry, with more emphasis on design, motion graphics, video, and business than the canadian original. the presentation list also seems at more directly at flash users when compared with the most recent canadian presentation lineup.
fitc hollywood runs from october 5th to 7th, at the universal studios "beverly garland's holiday inn"
